Leonard Donato, VMD

Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Avian Practice

Since the age of five, Dr. Donato dreamed about becoming a veterinarian. After studying for four years at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and four years at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, he attained his longtime goal.  As a student, Dr. Donato was responsible for the medical and surgical care of animals at the University of Pennsylvania Wildlife Service. After completing his studies, Dr. Donato was an Associate Veterinarian at Rothman Animal Hospital from 1996 to 2000. His caseload included traditional and non-traditional pets.

As a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians (A.A.V.), Dr. Donato lectured at several national conventions.  Throughout his career he has been actively providing continuing education opportunities for veterinarians, veterinary students, and veterinary technicians.

In February 2001, Dr. Donato became the owner of Radnor Veterinary Hospital. He treats dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, amphibians, hedgehogs, sugar gliders and other non-traditional pets. Dr. Donato's areas of interest include orthopedics, endoscopy, and wildlife & exotic pet medicine and surgery. Dr. Donato lives in Wayne, PA with his wife, Marianne, daughters, Lena and Christina, and son, Joseph.  The Donato family shares their home with a persian cat named McLovin, a bearded dragon named Derrik, and french bulldog named Bruce Lee. Dr. Donato enjoys martial arts, table tennis, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Becky Ehrlich, VMD

Dr. Becky Ehrlich is originally from Blue Bell, PA and received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Science in Society from Wesleyan University.   After obtaining her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, she worked in Chester County before moving to Wayne and joining the team at Radnor Veterinary Hospital in 2014.  Dr. Ehrlich has a passion for exotic animal medicine, and also especially enjoys soft tissue surgery, cardiology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Ehrlich lives with her husband Dan, rabbit Yoshi, mixed breed dog Rory, and blue tongued skink Citra (all rescues).  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, teaching, skiing, baking, and occasionally skydiving.

Carolyn McKee, VMD

Dr. Carolyn McKee is back! She is seeing appointments on a part-time basis while also working on a dog hypothyroid study with one of our laboratories.

Dr. McKee grew up in Blue Bell, PA.. She graduated from Princeton University in 2001 with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and then completed a one  year internship at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists in San Leandro, California. Dr. McKee later returned to Pennsylvania and has worked as a small animal associate veterinarian in the Philadelphia suburbs since 2008. Throughout her career, Dr. McKee has developed a passion for cats and loves discussing all aspects of feline medicine with her clients. Additional professional interests include challenging internal medicine cases, nutrition, and providing care for elderly animals. Dr. McKee currently resides in Lansdale with her husband, young son, and three cats (Buca, LuLus, and Boris. Outside of work, she can be found running, knitting, and planning her next trip.

Allyson DeLozier, VMD   

Dr. Allyson DeLozier is a graduate from University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. She's originally from Altoona, PA. Before moving to Philadelphia, she spent four years at the University of Pittsburgh obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Biology. Before joining the team at Radnor Vet, she was working in private practice in Delaware. Dr. DeLozier has always had a special interest in exotic animal medicine and also enjoys surgery.

Dr. DeLozier currently lives in Secane, PA with her husband Christian; her great dane Lily, her cat Gwen, bearded dragon Spyro, and leopard gecko Arya. She and her husband enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing other cultures. At home she enjoys ultimate Frisbee, yoga, walking her dog, playing games with friends, and watching Pittsburg sports teams. 

Stephen Meister, VMD

Dr. Stephen Meister graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduating, he practiced feline medicine in Philadelphia for one year, after which he participated in a veterinary dental residency at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2002. For the next fourteen years he was a general practitioner, primarily with dogs and cats in Philadelphia. During this time he explored his interests in dentistry, orthopedic surgery, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Meister is also a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; the American Association of Feline Practitioners; and the American Veterinary Dental Society. He also serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves Public Health Command. He currently resides in Philadelphia with his wife Laura, two children: Fionnaula and Raighnaid; two long-haired Chihuahuas, two new kittens, and two parakeets.
