Wayne veterinarians care for dogs, cats and exotic pets

St. Davids and Wayne Pets Receive Advanced Veterinary Care

Leonard Donato, VMD, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, wanted to be a veterinarian since he was five. He lives his dream, Radnor Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Donato is not merely a cat and dog vet, as he also treats less traditional pets, like reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, hedgehogs, and amphibians. Along with experience in orthopedics and endoscopy, Dr. Donato has expertise in bird, wildlife and exotic pet medicine and surgery. Dr. Donato is also state board accredited in the treatment of birds.

Jeffrey Szanto, VMD, earned degrees from Columbia University, University of Chicago, University of New Hampshire and a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris from the University of Pennsylvania. A two decade Wayne, PA resident, he passed the torch of leading Radnor Veterinary Hospital to Dr. Donato in 2001. He enjoys more time to travel to Italy, play squash, read the classics, loving his dog and ragdoll cat, and providing quality small animal vet care to his beloved patients.

At U Penn School of Veterinary Medicine, Meghan McGrath, VMD, also found time to earn a B.S. in Chemistry from Rowan University and a Masters Degree in Chemistry from Villanova before becoming a valued member of the medical team at Radnor Veterinary Hospital. She cares for her patients with the same commitment she feels for her two cats, two rescued pugs, Grizzie and Obey One Eye Kenobi, rescued Boston Terrier, Finn, pug, Molly--and her husband, Dave.

Kimberly Bowers, VMD, earned a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Chestnut Hill College. She then graduated from the U Penn School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bowers is more than a dedicated dog and cat vet. She is active throughout St. Davids and Delaware County visiting schools, conducting pet vaccinations, and lending a helping hand to rescue groups and pet shelters. She shares her home with two dogs, five cats, an amazon parrot, red corn snake, and two box turtles. Dr. Bowers is a skilled St. Davids and Wayne veterinarian, with expertise in exotic animal and emergency medicine and surgery.

When you want the right dog and cat vet for your pet, or are the proud owner of a more exotic family member, our medical staff and technicians are ready to meet and treat your treasured friend with expertise and compassion. While we have technical expertise as a dog and cat vet practice, we are also an accomplished non-traditional small animal vet clinic. When you need a cat and dog vet, we are here. If your pet is more exotic, we are here.
