Rabbits

Although rabbits have been kept as pets for hundreds of years, it is only recently that the concept of the "house rabbit" came to replace the "hutch rabbit". Many rabbit owners now keep their rabbits indoors as members of the family rather than confined to hutches in the backyard. Closer supervision and closer bonding with rabbits has lead to increased interest in their healthcare. Two of the most common health problems affecting rabbits are dental disease, and improper diet.

At Radnor, we are familiar with the healthcare needs of pet house rabbits. We realize that rabbits are rabbits, and should not be treated like dogs or cats. We work hard to provide an environment that is the least stressful to your rabbit as is possible. We also take strides to help assure safe anesthesia when it is necessary. You can count on us to be with you and your rabbit from adolescence to old age.
